ISOPE Conference and Symposium Proceedings

The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE), P.O. Box 189, Cupertino, California 95015-0189 USA, holds various conferences, symposia and exhibitions every year. The conferences and exhibitions provide an international forum where the engineers, managers and academia come each year to present and share new challenges and solutions in ocean, offshore and polar engineering.

All papers are peer-reviewed for publication in the ISOPE conference and symposium proceedings:

Proceedings of Annual International Ocean (Offshore) and Polar Engineering Conference (ISOPE), ISSN: 1098-6189.

Proceedings of Ocean Mining (and Gas Hydrates) Symposium (OMS) (biennial), ISSN: 1946-0066.

Proceedings of Pacific Asia Offshore Mechanics Symposium (PACOMS) (biennial), ISSN: 1946-004X.

Proceedings of the European Offshore Mechanics Symposium (EUROMS)

Proceedings of ISOPE International Deep-Ocean Technology (IDOT)

The primary aim of the ISOPE Conference and Symposia is to serve engineers and researchers worldwide by disseminating technical information of permanent interest in the fields of offshore, ocean, polar energy, offshore wind energy, and related science and technology. Since 1990, the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) has been very active in the dissemination of technical information and organization of symposia and conferences in these fields throughout the world.

Theoretical, experimental and engineering research papers are welcome. Research results or outstanding engineering achievements of likely interest to readers are also welcome.

Author Responsibilities

Submit the manuscript via e-mail directly to the Technical Editor at the address listed below. If a TeX file is sent, the corresponding PDF file must also be attached. The manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere (except an ISOPE conference or symposium proceedings) nor submitted for publication elsewhere. The authors will be asked to sign a statement transferring copyright to the ISOPE. Download the journal template (WORD and LaTeX) from http://www.isope.org/publications/publications.htm.

The title page must contain the names of all authors, their institutional affiliations and city/country. The ISOPE Conference and Symposia discourage promotion of commercial products/software and limits the number of mentions by name within papers.

Submit abstracts online www.isope.org or email to meetings@isope.org.  ISOPE, P.O. Box 189, Cupertino, California 95015-0189 USA. Include full author affiliations, mailing addresses, telephone and FAX numbers, and e-mail addresses.

Peer-Review Process

All papers submitted for journal consideration undergo rigorous peer-review, with a minimum of 2 reviews by experts in the respective fields of the papers. Reviewers remain anonymous to the authors of the papers. Reviewers must not have direct professional connections to the authors of the papers they are reviewing. Reviews by graduate students are not allowed.

Reviewers are asked to declare that they have no financial connection or stake in the manuscript, including personal collaboration in the covered project.

Publication Ethics

The author acknowledges the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere and has not been previously published. English editing by the authors may be requested. Withdrawal and publication elsewhere of the peer-reviewed MS after the reviews are completed can result in sanctions for a limited period of time.

Copyright, Access and Archiving

Download the ISOPE copyright form from www.isope.org. Copyright is transferred to ISOPE before manuscript review process begins. All issues are listed on the ISOPE website, www.isope.org, and at www.onepetro.org/conferences. Individual PDF files of full papers are available through online order at www.onepetro.org/conferences.
